From One Thing to the Next

I returned home late last night from the worship conference. Our time there was amazing! I don’t have time to share details right now but I do have some pictures!

Early tomorrow morning my family is heading out west for four weeks. Check back daily for updates! I’ve been given the roles of photographer and blogger :). Please pray for safety!

Also, my little brother Joshua was rushed to the hospital yesterday with appendicitis and got emergency surgery last night. They did it laparocopically so his recovery will be fairly quick. Please pray for strength and a quick recovery as we travel. He’s been such a trooper! Thank you!

Sushi Night!

Last night I went out with some girls for sushi (and some not for sushi ;-). We had a lot of fun! It was the first time I'd ever tried it. There are definitely other foods that I would enjoy before sushi, but needless to say I thought it was good :). Here are some pictures of the evening...

Singles/Youth Cookout

While in full recovery mode, I was able to get out of the house on Sunday and visit with some of the people I love most. Here are some pictures to enjoy!

Miami!

This past weekend I had the opportunity to travel down to Miami with some Orlando friends. The purpose of the trip was to serve the Sovereign Grace church in Miami, “Palm Vista Community church.” The Lord was so very kind to meet us. We had a lot of fun and made many memories. I didn’t take a lot of pictures (I know, crazy right?! ;D), but I did get a few. Enjoy!

Single's Work Day

Yesterday some of the singles from church had the opportunity to serve a non-profit organization in Jacksonville called Angel Wood. They are a group of people that provide help and care for children with disabilities. We volunteered at one of the homes doing a bunch of yard work. We had an absolute blast working together!

Last night I had the privelage of going and hanging out with the Neikirk kids for the evening. We had a great time... Jared made us all delicious pizza, we played games, read books, Lacey made us dessert. What more could you ask for?!

Girl's Night Out

This past Wednesday night Lana and I had the opportunity to spend the night with some of the high school and middle school girls from church. We had a great time goofing off and getting to know the girls better. I was very encouraged talking with them all and hearing what's going on in their life. I was also able to spend some time praying with one of the girls. It was a wonderful evening!
